Changed my mind to write about something else.
Because, I know, it has been a little bit since I've been on here.
and, all I can say is ...
School started back this week.
and that, in itself should speak volumes.
WOW, let me tell you what a few 8 hour days of lecture will do to you!!
It will make you not want to look at ANY FORM of written word once you step foot in your house.
THAT, I am sure of.
{another thing I'm sure of.. these "cuties" clementines are sooo amazing right now!}
It will make you watch the clock, and through glazed over eyes, see that there's 30 minutes left in lecture, only to look back up and see that 5 minutes have gone by and you're about to go out of your mind.

and it isn't even medical-surgical stuff.
That is done.
Now, our discussions are on effective communication, saying "NO" assertively, what to expect when entering the work force as a RN, the nursing shortage, why ADN degrees might eventually be made to get their BSN degrees or be demoted to LPN's, writing resumes, interviews with potential employers...
yeah, lots of stuff.

As our instructors are putting it, this 5th and final semester in school is our "polishing" semester.
They're getting us fully equipped to be sent out into thewild wide world of nursing.
And if I was being completely honest with you, I would tell you that I have my semester calendar with me AT ALL TIMES.
And if I was being completely honest with you, I would tell you that from one hour to the next, I have to refer to my semester calendar to see what's going on.
It's THAT all over the place.
Really.
I'm lost without it.
I haven't even gotten a planner for the year yet because I know that I cannot even THINK past May.
GEEZ, I can't even LOOK past January at this moment.
Can you see why...
