Those are the perfect words to sum up how this semester will be {and has already been}.
I'm officially done with week 2 of this 5th and final semester.
15 more weeks to go!!
There have already been 3 tests and my fourth will be Tuesday.
[I should be studying right this minute, but I promise, I will... in just a minute!!]
So far, so good with school!!
I really do want to keep my "A" average in nursing school because for some crazy reason, it matters to me.
The work I put into school is a reflection on how my career of a nurse will start.
I love learning about medical stuff.
I like all the chances I'm getting to practice my new skills.
It's pretty neat that I get to share my experience with 57 other people from all different walks of life, with all different personalities.
and I'm blessed to have a supportive family that is proud to have my back during this {not always easy} journey toward getting my Registered Nurse's degree.
We don't have a lot of stuff, but we have tons and bunches to be thankful for.
And believe me, I have more now than I could have ever deserved.
This is where we get our coffee from now.
A friend of ours opened a coffee kiosk in Irmo, SC named Loveland Coffee, and believe me - it's easy to get spoiled because this is some pretty great coffee!!
My favorite drink is the Ole Espanol.
God has richly blessed Beach and Jessica's sweet family so they could open this business!!
If you're in Irmo, go get some coffee from them!!
Jessica even is on here blogging about their business...LOVELAND COFFEE!!!
A family of 3 living in Scotland on The Black Isle. Both Elizabeth and Billy {her husband} are starting internet businesses out of their home and they have a beautiful 4 year old daughter, named Kaya.
Elizabeth has an amazing way with words and her pictures make you want to get up and go visit them in Scotland!

This girl can pick up anything in our yard and have fun with it.
Wild imaginations are easy to come by in this household.
I told her to pose and this is what ensued...
And we finally made our Christmas Sugar Cookies, with a friend's recipe and they turned out better than any sugar cookie I've EVER made. Seriously!
One day, while I was getting ready - straightening my hot mess of wavy hair - Hailee got annoyed with waiting on me and just decided to climb in the dryer.

Ok, it's been longer than a minute. I know that!
I'm off to study my brains out...
on reproductive anatomy and physiology, conception and fetal development, and the physical and psychological changes of pregnancy...
SEEING as how I've been there, done that, hopefully this will be a familiar rodeo.
It just gets so dang technical!
Oh, and my first clinical is in 2 weeks -- I will be in the Newborn Nursery first!!
I wouldn't be lying if I told you I'm pretty excited about it!!
and today, for some reason, I cannot get this song out of my head.

That is one of the pages I made in my new smash book my sister in law got me for Christmas.
Being creative is fun for me!!
Here is another darling family that I get to live vicariously through!!

Just a week ago, I was wearing these:

And we soaked up being outside as much as we possibly could!!
I admired all of my baby's precious golden curls.
She got to do "happy feet" outside in the grass.
And we saw this awesome hot air balloon lazily float by...
** hot air balloons are nice and all, but honestly, I'd be scared to go up this high in one **

Sassy Girl in her sassy new bathrobe!
Riding off into the sunset...
and my husband got a chance to be the grill master - in January!
